Awesome atmosphere and great service. Had some pretty delicious plates, but a couple that fell flat. Could have done without the veggie plate but was very happy with the tuna sashimi with cucumber salad and green pappardelle with ricotta cheese. Loved how seasonal and colorful the dishes were. Would love to come back and try some other things- good for sharing!

What a great space and delicious meal. Came here on a Saturday around 7pm and there was a sign that said they were already booked for table seating walk-in’s, but bar seating would be available first come first serve; ending up waiting around 20-30 min which wasn’t too bad. Everything we had was delicious but the highlights were the charred cabbage, duck breast, and caramel apple cake. The seed crackers were almost too overpowering for the smoked trout.

This restaurant is SO GOOD!!! If you’re in this area you don’t want to miss out on this meal. We sat at the chefs counter and watched them make the meals and it was truly amazing. We got the bread with pate, butter, Gouda. We had the tomato carpaccio, carrots, chicory salad, shishito peppers as apps all 10/10. Mains we had the pork and gnocchi. Also 10/10!! With the ice cream as dessert because we were way too full for more!

We wandered into Chleo on a weekend getaway and left plotting how soon we could come back. Every dish left us wishing we had come with a larger group so we could try even more dishes. Our waitress recommended we share 5-6 dishes between us. Here is what we tried: - Spaghetti Alla Nerano: the kind of summer pasta dish you dream about. Honestly, we could’ve happily eaten a whole vat of it. - Pork Schnitzel: perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. - Scallop Crudo: bright and refreshing with peaches, melon, and pineapple. - Tomato Pie: another standout. The cornmeal crust was so good we joked that if they made a foot-long version, it would be the perfect bite. - Smashed Cucumbers were a hit too, pairing beautifully with smoked and whipped trout roe and fresh dill. Between the perfect flavors and the warm, relaxed vibe, Chleo is definitely a must-visit for a date night or a group dinner in Kingston.

Food was absolutely amazing!! And I came in right at close (9pm) didn't mean to, just got off work and wanted to eat. The owner suggested my meal and I totally went with it. The potatoes were super delicious and the porkchop was fantastic!! The bartender suggested a citrus mescal cocktail and it was superb!! The bartender suggested a dessert and I went with it!! Overall was absolutely amazing!!

They have got hospitality right! What an amazing experience from the moment we walked in, with the warm and genuine welcome from the host, to the moment we sat down, the bartender was just as lovely. We’re accustomed to NYC dining, and that’s where we felt we were. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the dishes were exceptional. I haven’t had a meal like this in quite some time and we’re so happy to have found a spot like this, especially just moving to the area - a place we’ll be coming back to regularly.
